Staff and residents at Pendlebury Court are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Bronze Dignity and Respect Award by Derbyshire County Council.

As previous holders of the award it was great to hear that the work the Home does to ensure people are involved in all aspects of service planning and delivery to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Staff embrace their role as Dignity Champions and celebrate National Dignity Day each year in February with a Digni -tea afternoon

Safeguarding Training uses reflective practice and a dignity monitoring tool to ensure staff embed the Dignity Principles and then 10 Point Challenge.
